Closing the Year with Pride: SSS Faculty Recognized Globally for Impactful Research

As the year draws to a close, we are thrilled to celebrate another round of fantastic achievements by our faculty members. Some have earned recognition year after year and once again named to the prestigious Stanford Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists List for 2025.

This distinguished list highlights researchers whose work has made a significant impact across a wide range of scientific fields. 

Compiled using Scopus data from Elsevier by the ICSR Lab, it relies on rigorous citation-based metrics including the h-index, co-authorship, and adjusted citation counts. Updated annually, it recognizes both career-long achievements (4 of our faculty) and outstanding single-year contributions (4 of our faculty again), making this a perfect milestone to close the year with pride, and a reason to celebrate the remarkable influence and excellence of our scholars.
