Singapore Polytechnic Outstanding Talent (SPOT) Programme

Singapore Polytechnic's Outstanding Talent (SPOT) programme is dedicated to moulding academically bright students into future Humanitarians, Communicators, Leaders, and Scholars. Our collaboration with the NTU Office of Admissions brought this dynamic group together on January 24, 2024.

The session started with the inspiring words of Nelson Mandela: "Challenging the humanity of individuals is synonymous with denying them their human rights."

Assistant Professor Walid, representing our SSS Public Policy and Global Affairs Programme, engaged with Singapore Poly students in a thought-provoking discussion on "Human Rights: Beyond Rhetoric." This dialogue delved into Public Policy and Global Affairs, providing insights into the unique features of NTU's Social Sciences major.

SP students were introduced to diverse disciplines within our social sciences umbrella, including Sociology, Economics, Psychology, and more.
