RTS Link: Singapore businesses concerned about price competition from Johor, recognised the need to innovate

Singapore businesses, particularly in retail and F&B, are concerned that the Johor Bahru-Singapore RTS Link could intensify price competition from Johor Bahru. Prof Chua Yeow Hwee, assistant professor of economics from NTU, expects the benefits of the RTS Link to outweigh the challenges, saying improved connectivity will expand the effective market for businesses in Singapore and Johor.
