Panel discusses role of an inclusive society in addressing issues
A panel discussion on the topic Considerations for the Future – Enterprise, Professionals, and Religious Sectors at the International Conference on Glorious Societies (ICCOS) 2024 on 14 Oct emphasised the importance of community leadership roles in harnessing synergies between various sectors to address urgent issues. The panellists included Dr Md Saidul Islam, an associate professor and postgraduate coordinator of sociology at NTU’s School of Social Sciences and Asian School of the Environment, Mr Shamir Rahim, founder of VersFleet Singapore, Ustaz Tarmizi Wahid, president of Pergas, and Ms Nadia Yeo, leader of M3 Tunas Singapore, as the moderator.
