Postgraduate Fair 2025: Spotlight on SSS Gerontology & Applied Economics

On Saturday, 13 September 2025, the Postgraduate Fair took place at the Raffles City Convention Centre. The School of Social Sciences (SSS) drew strong interest with its two flagship postgraduate programmes for the coming intake:

• MSc in Applied Gerontology – preparing professionals to address the opportunities and challenges of an ageing population through policy and practice.

• MSc in Applied Economics – equipping students with data-driven skills and economic insights to tackle real-world issues and shape effective policies.

Visitors explored how these programmes combine rigorous academic training with practical, industry-relevant experience - ideal for graduates and mid-career professionals seeking to make an impact in health, ageing, and economic policy.

The high level of engagement delighted SSS and highlighted the rising demand for expertise in these fields, reaffirming the School’s commitment to delivering education that responds to society’s changing needs.
