NTU to Launch New Master of Science in Psychology in August 2026

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) will introduce a new Master of Science in Psychology programme in August 2026, featuring Asia’s first thanatology specialisation focused on the study of death, dying, and bereavement.

Widely offered at universities in North America and Europe, thanatology will be available in Asia for the first time through this programme. The specialisation reflects growing societal and community needs in understanding loss, grief, and end-of-life issues.

In addition to thanatology, the programme offers specialisations in community health, neuropsychology, and forensic psychology, equipping graduates with advanced knowledge to support mental wellbeing and strengthen community resilience.
