Malay/Muslim leaders seek to strengthen community confidence with fresh approaches

Following GE2025, Singapore’s Malay political leadership has focused on strengthening confidence and trust within the Malay/Muslim community through various efforts and more refreshed, holistic approaches. Assoc Prof Dr Walid Jumblatt Abdullah from NTU’s School of Social Sciences said there was a need to strengthen confidence, adding that the empathy and humility shown have had a significant impact and indicate efforts are on the right track.
