He’s speeding up your Woodlands Checkpoint crossing

After seeing first-hand how long waits affect daily commuters, ICA officer Aloysius Thum worked on automated systems that enhance checkpoint efficiency. A recipient of the MHA Uniformed Scholarship, Aloysius joined ICA in 2021 after graduating with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (honours) in public policy and global affairs from NTU. In his early days as a team leader at Woodlands Checkpoint, self-doubt crept in as he learnt to find his footing on the ground.
