A Warm Welcome to the SSS Freshmen Cohort

More than 400 incoming students took their first steps into life at the NTU School of Social Sciences (SSS) at the SSS Freshmen Welcome on 5 August.

The welcome event gave our freshmen an opportunity to get acquainted with their new community and learn more about what lies ahead in their undergraduate journey. Students met their coursemates and discipline mentors, gained insights into their academic experience at SSS, and familiarised themselves with the essentials they will need as they begin university life.

Beyond the academic briefings, the day was also about making connections, meeting new people and building a sense of belonging. Over a shared meal, students had the opportunity to interact with one another and start forming friendships that will hopefully grow throughout their time at SSS.

As our newest cohort begins this exciting journey, we look forward to seeing them learn, grow and make their mark in the SSS community.
