Highlights from the PAS 2025 Annual Meeting
The PAS 2025 Annual Meeting, held on 15–16 May at Nanyang Technological University, was co-organised by the Population Association of Singapore and NTU’s School of Social Sciences. Centred on the theme “Demography and Inequality: Intersecting Paths”, the conference brought together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to examine how demographic trends intersect with various forms of inequality.
The event featured a *keynote address by A/P Teo You Yenn, who offered powerful insights into the social dimensions of inequality. Co-chaired by Asst Prof Shannon Ang, A/P Premchand and Asst Prof Feng Quishi, from NUS, this 2-day conference and annual meeting provided a vibrant platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.
