Michelle Neoh, our Psychology PhD graduate, has been honoured with the prestigious Graduate College Research Excellence Award for her exceptional contributions to the field of psychology. Her academic journey is marked by a deep exploration of interpersonal relationships, delving into the intricate dynamics of parent-child and romantic partnerships. Her innovative thesis, which offers a fresh perspective on how individuals perceive and respond to criticism within these relationships, is a unique blend of social, cultural, and neuroimaging methodologies. 

Michelle's scholarly excellence is highlighted by her awards from the Singapore Psychological Society, publications in journals like Scientific Reports and Family Process, and presentations at major international forums such as the International Convention of Psychological Science and the International Congress of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology.
