Young Singapore Players Lead the Charge in the Country’s First Asian Games 3x3 Basketball Campaign
Singapore will make its first appearance in the Asian Games 3x3 basketball event, sending young men’s and women’s teams with an average age below 21 to compete in the Aichi-Nagoya Games. The women’s team is led by 20-year-old NTU first-year Economics student Li Keying, while the men’s team is captained by 22-year-old Zhong Zhenyu, and both squads are targeting a podium finish. Singapore’s teams, ranked fifth in Asia for men and sixth for women, will face strong opponents including South Korea, Japan, Thailand and Indonesia in the group stage.
