2nd Asia-Europe Development International Academic Symposium successfully held

The 2nd Asia-Europe Development International Academic Symposium was successfully held at the Sun Yat-sen University Institute for Advanced Studies, and the Centre for China Studies of the Faculty of Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The symposium brought together renowned scholars from more than 20 leading universities and research institutions around the world through a hybrid format. This symposium was also co-organised by the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) at NTU. NTU’s Prof Liu Hong, Associate Vice President, International (Liaison & Coordination) and Director (Research & Executive Education), NCPA, delivered the opening keynote, highlighting the rise of Asia, the evolution of Global Asia studies, and their significance for social science theory. He also examined how new geopolitical dynamics shape the future of Global Asia and emphasised the value of a transnational perspective.
