Food prices in Singapore have increased, according to the Department of Statistics, and families said they are feeling the pinch. Prof Ng Yew Kwang from NTU’s economics department said the general increase in prices of goods here has been low compared with countries like Australia and Malaysia. Our currency remains stable and is doing well.
