​Psychology Seminar | Understanding Children’s Suspicion and Mental Health

Dr Keri Wong is the Betty Behrens Research Fellow (JRF) at the University of Cambridge Clare Hall College and an affiliated lecturer at the Cambridge Department of Psychology and the Faculty of Education. She received her Ph.D. in Social and Developmental Psychology from the University of Cambridge (2015) and completed her M.A. and B.A. (Hons) in Criminology and Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania respectively (2010). As of 2018, she is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Dr Wong serves as the Equality and Diversity Representative at the Cambridge Department of Psychology Athena Swan Committee, a group dedicated to promoting career development and equality for researchers and leaders the Clare Hall College Postdoctoral Committee in organising public engagement events for postdoctoral researchers, visiting fellows and alumni. Her research interests include the early assessments of childhood paranoia/suspiciousness, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders (schizotypal personality disorder), antisocial and aggressive behaviours, child mental-wellbeing, and cross-cultural comparative research. She was born in New Zealand and grew up in Hong Kong.
