Biography
Dr Fang began working as a postdoctoral researcher for Counselling and Psychology in Education as well as the Center for Disabilities at the University of South Dakota from August 2017, after receiving her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics from Bowling Green State University. She also has a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Originally from Shenzhen, China, her native languages are Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. She spent a year in Kyoto, Japan, as an exchange student in college and speaks some Japanese. Dr Fang has a variety of research and teaching experiences and her dissertation focused on parental attachment, bullying, and relationship issues in teens. She taught some psychology courses from the areas of developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, and statistics. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, exercising, listening to music, watching movies, reading, and singing.
