In response to their widely discussed research which found Singapore seniors needing at least S$1,379 to meet basic needs, Assoc Prof Teo You Yenn from NTU and Asst Prof Ng Kok Hoe from NUS share how they conducted the study. In addition to establishing baseline budgets, their research sheds light on Singaporeans’ shared values.
