This presentation addresses the issue of grief and loss in the workplace, which often remains unspoken due to professional norms. It emphasizes the importance of compassionately acknowledging and managing grief and loss at work. The talk includes practical guidance on conducting a brief grief intervention to honour the memory of a deceased colleague.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Paul Victor Patinadan, from our Psychology Programme,  is a highly skilled academic with nearly ten years of research expertise in health and wellness. He attained his doctoral degree in Psychology from NTU. Additionally, Paul holds certification as a Thanatologist from the Association for Death Education and Counselling (ADEC) and actively participates in the Action Research for Community Health (ARCH) Lab at NTU. He holds a concurrent appointment as a Health Professions Educator with the National Healthcare Group and is also an Association for Death Education and Counselling (ADEC) certified Thanatologist.
