SCALE@NTU is set up to combine Singtel/NCS domain expertise in Smart & Safe City solutions with NTU world renowned academia in artificial intelligence. The joint lab's objective is to develop market leading & differentiating technologies in cognitive systems and artificial intelligence for next generation Smart & Safe City solutions.

Through the collaboration, Singtel/NCS will create distinctive IPs via the Corp Lab, grow their technological offerings, and expand their global presence in the market of Smart City technology. NTU will address industry problems statements, nurture talent in AI and data science, and reinforce its leading research competency in AI. The innovation will support Singapore in establishing itself as a leading Global Smart City with organic smart city technologies and further support the creation of growth engine for future economy.
