We are engaged in cutting edge research in the field of structural and molecular biophysics. We are investigating:

1. molecular mechanisms of b2 integrins signaling in leukocyte cell adhesion and migration and to develop anti-cancer therapeutics, 

2. host defense antimicrobial peptides platform to combat drug resistant bacteria and 

3. de-novo designed functional synthetic heme protein mimics
