Please share with us your professional life’s journey and at which point in your career did you aspire to pursue this programme?

My university education was primarily focused on Marketing, yet there was a clear inclination towards technology and software development that I couldn’t ignore. After graduation, I landed my first job at a market research firm, where my engagement with technology deepened. I was tasked with programming surveys, developing web applications, creating dashboards, and implementing automations to streamline market research operations. This role was instrumental in honing my technical skills and provided a practical playground for applying my marketing knowledge in tech-driven contexts.

Despite the satisfaction I found in marrying marketing with technology, my passion for diving deeper into the tech world grew stronger. I realised that to fully transition into a tech-centric career, I needed a more comprehensive foundation in software development. That’s when I discovered the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) at NTU. The programme promised—and delivered—a well-rounded curriculum, blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience, facilitating my smooth transition into my current role as a Solutions Developer.
