Please share with us your professional life’s journey and at which point in your career did you aspire to pursue this FlexiMasters?

After spending 10 years working in a large semiconductor corporation, I received an opportunity to join my friend's startup last year. The working style was vastly different and I realised that I needed to upgrade my skills in order to tackle any challenges that came my way. After conducting some research, I found NTU's FlexiMasters in Technopreneurship and Innovation offers a structured curriculum specifically designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, which is the perfect one for me.

How was your learning experience with this FlexiMasters?

The learning experience was great. The instructors were experienced professionals, successful entrepreneurs and investors who shared real-world examples and case studies, which enriched my understanding of the concepts and their practical applications. The courses fostered a collaborative learning environment. I had the opportunity to interact with fellow aspiring entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, enabling us to exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn from one another. This interaction not only expanded my network but also exposed me to different perspectives and approaches, broadening my entrepreneurial mindset.

Which aspect of this FlexiMasters did you like the most?

Their expertise and encouragement played a significant role in building my confidence and motivation to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams.

These sessions provided invaluable insights into their personal journeys, challenges faced, and strategies for success. Listening to their stories and experiences was not only inspiring but also gave me a realistic understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape. The speakers shared practical tips, lessons learned, and advice on various aspects of entrepreneurship, including funding, scaling, and building a strong team. It was fascinating to hear first-hand accounts from individuals who had turned their ideas into thriving businesses.

Furthermore, the courses encouraged us to explore emerging trends and technologies. We had sessions dedicated to topics such as AI, IOT, and disruptive technologies. These discussions allowed me to stay updated on the latest trends and understand how to leverage them for our own ventures. It was fascinating to explore the potential of emerging technologies and understand how they could disrupt existing industries.
