Please share with us your professional life’s journey and at which point in your career did you aspire to pursue this programme?

As an advocate for personal development, I firmly believe in continuously upgrading my skillset. Although I already hold an MBA and a Master’s degree in e-business, I recognised the need to update my knowledge in a subject area that has always captivated my interest: Digital Marketing. Not only will acquiring deeper insights in digital marketing enrich my understanding, but it will also complement my current Sales/Business Development role.


Describe the factors that led you to choose PaCE@NTU.

The programme's rigorous nature, coupled with its well-balanced approach to delivery were the factors that led me to choose PaCE@NTU. The combination of live lessons facilitated through Zoom, self-paced online learning, and monthly face-to-face meetings provided a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. Additionally, the involvement of industry practitioners who shared their valuable industry insights brought real-world perspectives, enriching the learning journey for all of us. The strong reputation and brand name of NTU also served as a compelling factor, further enhancing the programme's appeal and credibility.


Could you share with us some interesting facets of the programme you enrolled?

The career coaching and guidance provided by our coach were truly exceptional, and the best part is that they remain accessible even after completing the programme. I highly recommend all SCTP learners to take full advantage of this invaluable resource. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the emphasis on group projects, which fostered collaboration and a shared learning experience within our teams. This collaborative approach enabled us to effectively apply the knowledge gained during group work to our individual projects.


What were the challenges you faced when trying to complete this programme?

Striving to give my utmost effort in this programme while simultaneously managing a new job and caring for two adopted Singapore Special puppies proved to be quite challenging. However, by staying focused and determined, I managed to overcome these obstacles and successfully complete the programme. I am grateful for the support I received from my employer who provided me flexible work hours, as well as the support from my family and the instructors, which played a crucial role in my achievement.


Do you think lifelong learning is important? Please share your thoughts about it.

The rapid advancement of new and emerging technologies, along with evolving approaches, will undoubtedly expedite change. Consequently, lifelong learning should no longer be an afterthought but a necessity. To broaden our perspectives, stay competitive, and remain relevant, we need to continuously evolve ourselves, adopting the mindset of an ever-improving Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
