Please share with us your professional life’s journey and at which point in your career did you aspire to pursue this FlexiMasters?

The primary driving force behind my decision to pursue the FlexiMasters in Supply Chain Engineering was my ultimate goal of obtaining a Master of Science in Supply Chain Engineering. Firstly, pursuing an advanced degree has always been a personal aspiration, reflecting my desire to achieve personal growth and success. Secondly, I was able to transfer the academic credits earned from the FlexiMasters to the Master's degree that I want to attain, allowing me to progress efficiently in my educational journey. Lastly, acquiring a higher degree enhances my prospects for career progression and opens new avenues for me to explore other relevant roles within this field.


How was your learning experience with this FlexiMasters?

My learning experience with this FlexiMasters has been incredibly enriching and rewarding. This certificate provided me with a comprehensive and flexible curriculum that allowed me to deepen my knowledge in a specific field while accommodating my personal schedule and commitments.

The professors were highly knowledgeable and offered valuable insights, which enhanced my understanding of the subject matter. What were the challenges you faced when trying to complete this FlexiMasters?

Completing both the FlexiMasters and subsequent Master's programme was a challenging yet fulfilling experience. It involved managing my time effectively and prioritising my commitments between work, studies, and family responsibilities. Striking a balance between my professional duties and coursework proved to be an ongoing hurdle, often requiring late nights and personal sacrifices. Additionally, finding quality time for my family amidst the demanding academic requirements posed its own set of obstacles. Nevertheless, the effort was worthwhile! Through determination, self-discipline, and unwavering support from my loved ones; particularly my spouse, I overcame these difficulties and emerged with a profound sense of accomplishment, equipped with valuable knowledge and skills for my future endeavors.

Yes, lifelong learning is important in today’s fast-paced and dynamic world. It enables me to continuously acquire new knowledge, skills, and perspectives. Lifelong learning also fosters personal growth and adaptability. It helps individuals like me to stay relevant in our careers and cope with technological advancements. Moreover, lifelong learning stimulates the brain, enables critical thinking and promotes creativity.
