Module Title

Synopsis

IT Infrastructure Essentials

Behind every digital products and cloud platform lies the IT Infrastructure. In this course, learners will acquire basic IT knowledge such as how a computer works, operating systems, networking, communication protocols, servers, virtualizations, and etcs. Learners will be acquiring basic understanding and principles in IT Infrastructures such as hardware, operating systems, networking, and application processes.

Cloud Technologies Essentials and Architectural Design

+ Preparing for Cloud Certification

Cloud technologies have changed the way we approach IT solutions and have brought tremendous advantages to both IT personnel and businesses. Learners will acquire the knowledge of cloud computing and architectural design principles to support solutions deployment, maintenance, and scale. Learners will be acquainted with cloud products and administer them to IT personnel such as software developers and DevOps engineers. Learners will be able to design and provision cloud products, rectify issues and troubleshoot them, and monitor the overall systems’ health.

DevSecOps Essentials & System Monitoring Strategies

The birth and popularization of cloud computing have changed how IT professionals approach solutions deployment, monitoring, and scale. Learners will acquire knowledge and skills to implement DevSecOps to support agile software iterations in an automated deployment environment. Microservices architecture has achieved high adoption rates these days. Learners will acquire knowledge and skills to implement DevSecOps and Systems Monitoring Strategy in a distributed system architecture

Methodology

Our unique learning approach is based on Active Social Learning, where learners learn hands-on by interacting with peers through synchronous and asynchronous e-learning using the flipped classroom model, real-world portfolio projects, and direct access to our Mentors. The learning system is based on David Kolb's Experiential Learning Model, Honey & Mumford's Learning Styles, and the Learning Pyramid.
