Online Sharing Session on 'Singapore's Perspective on China's Internationalised Talent Strategy' by Ms Li Jie, General Manager of International Business, Career International

On 22 July 2020, NCPA invited Ms Li Jie, Career International's General Manager of International Business, to conduct an online sharing session for students in the Chinese graduate programmes. In her sharing, titled 'Singapore's Perspective on China's Internationalised Talent Strategy and Practices', Ms Li spoke about the globalisation trends in Chinese enterprises, the challenges and countermeasures of overseas Chinese companies, and Career International's developments from 2004 to 2019.

NCPA Director Professor Liu Hong, Deputy Directors Dr Dai Shiyan and Mr Wang Hang, and more than 50 students from the Chinese graduate programmes attended the online sharing session.

Ms Li has been in the human resources consulting industry for 17 years. Over the past six years, she led an 80-member consultant team from Career International in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Thailand and Indonesia, focusing on talent market research in more than 40 countries under the "Belt and Road" Initiative. The services provided by the team include training and consultation on the recruitment and placement of international talents, overseas employment risk management, and cross-cultural communication. It has successfully recruited more than 2,500 foreign talents for their corporate clients, including Toutiao, Tencent, Huawei, Apple, Amazon and many other leading domestic and foreign companies.
