49 NTU MAE Faculty Named in World’s Top 2% Scientists List 2026

Forty-nine faculty members from the NTU School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) have been named in the 2026 edition of the World’s Top 2% Scientists list.

Compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier, the list ranks researchers by citation impact within their research subfields. It has two rankings. The career ranking covers citations over a researcher’s whole career, and the single-year ranking covers citations received in 2025.

Of the 49 MAE faculty, 33 appear in both rankings, seven in the career ranking and nine in the single-year ranking. Their work spans subfields including materials, energy, industrial engineering and automation, biomedical engineering, aerospace and artificial intelligence.

Congratulations to the following faculty members.
