Blockchain@NTU Represents NTU at EDCON 2025 in Osaka

Blockchain@NTU proudly represented Nanyang Technological University at EDCON 2025 in Osaka, a leading global Ethereum and Web3 conference that brings together researchers, developers and community leaders from around the world.

Blockchain@NTU president, Peh Choon Meng, was invited to speak on the panel “Asian Student Leaders’ Perspectives on the Future of Web3”. Alongside fellow student blockchain leaders from across Asia, he shared perspectives on how universities and student communities can contribute to the growth of the Web3 ecosystem and presented them to a global audience.

Blockchain@NTU also celebrated a significant milestone as Choon Meng secured the 1st Prototype Award at the Vibe Ideathon, showcasing NTU’s innovation and entrepreneurial spirit on an international stage.

EDCON 2025 featured prominent voices in the blockchain space, including Vitalik Buterin, who shared his vision for the future of Ethereum and decentralized technologies. As part of the CCTF community, Blockchain@NTU is honored to have carried NTU’s voice to this international platform and remains committed to advancing blockchain education, research, and innovation within the university and beyond.
