NTU Summer School & Conference 2025 on AI for Finance
The inaugural NTU Summer School and Conference brought together global experts to explore critical questions at the intersection of AI and financial innovation.
The inaugural NTU Summer School & Conference on AI for Finance took place at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, from 4 to 7 July 2025, marking a significant event in the intersection of artificial intelligence and finance. The event attracted an impressive gathering of over 90 summer school participants and 180 conference attendees, including faculty members and students from prestigious local and international universities.
Spanning three days of intensive lectures and workshops, the Summer School (4 to 6 July) was expertly led by world-renowned scholars: Prof Hui Chen (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Prof Gordon Phillips (Dartmouth College), Prof Dacheng Xiu (The University of Chicago), Prof Bo An (NTU), and A/P Semyon Malamud (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). Their diverse expertise provided participants with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills in AI-driven financial research.

Culminating in a Conference on 7 July, chaired by Nanyang Business School's Dean Jun Yang (NTU) and Prof Hui Chen (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), the event showcased keynote speeches, research presentations, poster sessions, and engaging panel discussions. This platform fostered deep intellectual exchange and collaboration among the global AI and finance communities.
