Ms Sherie Ng’s career spans over a 25-year journey in the high technology environment across banking & finance, telecommunications, government and oil & gas industries across various management and global leadership capacity. She is involved largely in business and organisational transformation.

As General Manager, APAC Public Sector in Microsoft, Ms Ng spearheads businesses and partnerships with public sector institutions (government agencies, state-owned enterprises, healthcare and educational institutions) across APAC. As part of public sector motions, she champions social impact engagements delivering on “National Empowerment Programmes” for countries in APAC such as Digital Skills for Generations, National AI Center, Government Digital Acceleration Office, Sustainability and AI Country Plans, etc. Her role spans over Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, New Zealand and the nine countries in the Southeast Asia New Markets (Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos).

Prior to Microsoft, Ms Ng was the Managing Director for NICE Systems, managing three lines of businesses: (1) Customer Interactions (2) KYC/Fraud Management Systems (3) Cyber Security across Southeast Asia. In her capacity, she was responsible for driving top-line growth via customer acquisition and aggressively growing its ecosystem of partners whilst managing the bottom-line commitment to HQ. She was also responsible for building a high performance organisation in its transformation to a Solutions company whilst managing day-to-day operations of NICE across Southeast Asia and growth of the business in banking, finance, insurance, telco, customer service industries. Ms Ng was also responsible for innovating with Citi to change the way people bank in Asia then globally - voice biometrics authentication systems innovation.

Ms Ng is passionate about strategy, culture and brands. Strategy gives direction, Culture is the anchor to foster talents, and Brands communicate an organisation’s values. She firmly believes they are all interlinked and pivotal to any high-performing organisations.

Ms Ng did her undergraduate degree in business at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and completed the INSEAD Global CEO Forum Leadership Programme. She is actively involved in her community services associations. Ms Ng and her family enjoy adventure sports and adrenalin-inducing activities.
