Mr Oliver Plogmann serves McKinsey & Company as Partner in the travel, logistics, and infrastructure practice, focusing on aviation clients across Asia Pacific. 

Mr. Plogmann brings more than 30 years of experience in the aviation and technology space. He is responsible for advising airlines and airport clients on business strategy, cost transformation and restructuring, venture building all the way to digital transformation across commercial and operational functions, increasing top-end revenue and improving the low-end bottom line.

He joined McKinsey & Company from Accenture where he oversaw the aviation business across Growth Markets as Managing Director, including South America, Middle East, Africa and all of Asia Pacific.

​Prior to joining Accenture, Mr. Plogmann served ThoughtWorks, SITA and the Lufthansa Aviation Group for more than 25 years in various roles, helping airlines transform the way they do businesses while reducing costs, improving safety, efficiency, and enhancing the passenger experience through the implementation of innovative processes, solutions and services, building new airline platforms and ecosystems and digitizing processes across various business functions. In parallel to his management responsibilities in the Lufthansa Group, he was a Captain and Instructor, flying Airbus aircraft for Lufthansa German Airlines up until 2009.​

Mr. Plogmann holds an EMBA from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore among other certificates from Berkeley Haas and IATA.
