Worldwide Hotels owns and manages six hotel brands in Singapore, namely Hotel 81, Value Hotel, Venue Hotel, V Hotel, Hotel Boss and Hotel Mi. Worldwide Hotels is ​Singapore's largest hotel operator with 38 hotels and 6,500 rooms. In 2016, Ms Choo spearheaded the Group's​ overseas expansion with hotel acquisitions in Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and Japan. Before joining the family business in 2002, Ms Choo was in commercial banking for 3 years.

Ms Choo graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business (First Class Honours) from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore​. At Singapore Management University, she was awarded CPA Australia CPA Program Award for Top Master of Professional Accounting Graduate. She is also a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA Singapore).

Ms Choo has a strong philanthropic interest in education and oversees her family foundation that has set up bursary endowed funds in four local universities and five polytechnics. Being a mother of three, she strongly emphasises on effective time management to fulfill her role as a mother and leader to her 1,000 staff in the Group.
