Ms Angeline Chua is a professional with more than 19 years of experience in finance, strategic planning, business controls, and operations. She has lived and worked in mature markets such as Tokyo and New York, as well covered some of the fastest-growing economies in the world, including China, India, South America, Africa and the ASEAN region. As Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controls & Compliance Officer of IBM Greater China Group, a position she assumed in January 2022, Ms Chua is responsible for all strategic, operational, financial management, and compliance for the region.

Since joining IBM in 2001, Ms Chua has collaborated with leadership teams across the company to apply insights, analysis, and controls to drive IBM's strategic priorities and ensure that financial objectives are met. In the past two decades, she has also built a reputation as a dynamic leader who is passionate about transforming the role of financial and operations professionals within IBM so that teams continually focus on delivering higher value through process improvements as well as embracing new technology and tools.

Prior to assuming her current role, Ms Chua was the CFO and COO for the ASEAN region. She also spent three years at IBM headquarters in Armonk, New York as the Chief of Staff to IBM Controller.

Ms Chua holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Financial Analysis from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School in New York. She enjoys playing sports and travelling during her free time.
