Mr Glauerdt was a co-founder of Lazada Group and initially joined the company in 2012 in Vietnam, as the country's Chief Operating Officer to start up the operations.  

Over the past 10 years, Lazada has developed from a small start-up, fulfilling a few orders in the office, to a big operation with several warehouses, offices and its own pick-up and delivery fleet across six countries in South East Asia. 

In 2017, Mr Glauerdt joined the regional Lazada E-Logistics team in Singapore responsible for Lazada Express (LEX) Network Design and Strategic Planning centrally, overseeing the five Lazada countries that have their own fleet.

In mid-2020, Mr Glauerdt has led the operations for Lazada Singapore and Redmart as Chief Logistics Officer.

Prior to joining GLS, Gerald worked as a consultant with Bain and Company and LEK Consulting out of the Munich and Boston offices. Mr Glauerdt is an engineer by education and has obtained an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain/CEIBS Shanghai.
