NTU Alumni Toastmasters Club

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organisation that has been helping its members develop communication, public speaking and leadership skills since 1924.

NTU Alumni Toastmasters Club’s objective is to support NTU alumni in their professional growth and boost their self-confidence through effective communication. Members meet twice a month on a Saturday morning to network and hone their communication skills. They include recent NTU graduates as well as alumni from NTU's predecessor institution, Nanyang University. 

The club prides itself on providing a supportive and encouraging environment that helps newcomers overcome the challenges in public speaking. Since its chartering in May 2004, NTU Alumni Toastmasters Club has produced two national speech contest champions and provided training in communication skills for over a hundred members.
