Congratulations to faculty member Assoc Prof Jesvin Yeo for her new appointment as Deputy Associate Provost (Strategy)!

Assoc Prof Yeo, who teaches design art at ADM, is currently Associate Dean (Students) at the College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences (CoHASS), and Deputy Director of the University Scholars Programme. She researches human experience and behaviour and their applications in education, wellbeing and cultural heritage. In education, she explores cultural, societal and industrial shifts to better understand the form and nature of global design education. She has given keynote speeches on the future of design education and how we should rethink design higher education to meet new realities. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, an arts and design college under the University of London UK, she has received over 70 design awards for her work over the years.

In light of her new appointment, Assoc Prof Yeo will relinquish her role as Associate Dean (Students) at CoHASS on 17 October 2022. Assoc Prof Yeo will support in the shaping of strategies for admissions and outreach, as well as enhance students’ global education and mobility.
