Leading Lights Series

On the 11th of September 2024, over 100 attendees joined us at the Lee Foundation Lecture Theatre, WKWSCI, for the inaugural #LeadingLightsSeries. Prof Rayna Denison, Professor of Film and Digital Arts at the University of Bristol, delivered an enlightening lecture titled “𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐆𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢’𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐬: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧,” offering a fresh perspective on the studio’s lesser-known works. 

 

This event marks the beginning of an exciting series of high-impact research lectures aimed at deepening our understanding of critical topics in media and communication.
