The 14th International Conference on Chinese-Language Media and Huaxia Civilisations
The 14th International Conference on Chinese-Language Media and Huaxia Civilisations will be held from 27–29 November 2025 at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Under the theme “Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind in Times of Change: Paths of Peace, Dialogue, and Development,” the conference brings together scholars and media practitioners from ASEAN, Greater China, and beyond to explore the evolving role of Chinese-language media in a rapidly changing world. Jointly organized by the Chinese Association for the History of Journalism and Communication, the School of Journalism and Information Communication at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and WKWSCI, this long-running conference series—first launched in 1995—returns to Singapore after three decades to foster critical dialogue on peace, communication, and sustainable development.
