The truth about lying
BBC, 6am
A new study reveals that children who were lied to by their parents are more likely to tell fibs as adults and could face negative consequences in later life. In a live studio interview, Asst Prof Setoh Peipei from NTU suggests that parents can give their children accurate information, so that they know what to expect; give alternatives; and deliver truth in a sensitive and age-appropriate manner, so that children can learn about the world.
