In a commentary, Dr Euston Quah, professor of cost-benefit analysis and head of economics at NTU said that it was timely to consider convening a comprehensive study on household production activities and their valuation. Dr Quah, who is also the president of the Economic Society of Singapore, said that we should change the mindset of the value of household activity and it should not be taken for granted.
