Future of work? Fix how we view it today first

Senior fellow Han Fook Kwang from RSIS, NTU wrote a commentary about the need to know how work affects lives of people around us to bring back humanness of everyday life. About 100 NUS students interviewed 300 people from 2013 to 2017 about the work they do and compiled them in a book launched last week called Hard At Work: Life In Singapore. Assoc Prof Teo You Yenn of NTU, who wrote the book’s foreword, made a similar point when she spoke at a discussion with some of the students last week. She said when you take an interest in people, they will respond in kind, readily and spiritedly.
