An ISMAR Workshop:
Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality For Transportation
Online | Monday, 17 October 2022 (GMT+8)

Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality (VR/AR/MR) has evolved since the 1960s to Meta-Universal (or Metaverse) today. Fundamental research in VR/AR/MR involves various areas such as fidelity modelling & simulation, realistic visualisation, real-time interaction, natural user interface, etc.
VR/AR/MR have increasingly seen the convergence with robotics, IoT, digital twin, serious games, blockchain, cloud and edge computing. While VR/AR/MR has found a good number of traditional applications from engineering to healthcare and education. This workshop brings together like-minded researchers working on VR/AR/MR for transportation applications in aerospace, land and maritime. It aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest advances in VR/AR/MR and share ideas, data and practices of their respective fields.
