 | Mr Anson LiangFounder of Rowkin Energy Anson Liang is a serial entrepreneur and investor with a unique perspective on venture capital from both sides of the table. He co-founded Jackery, a renewable energy company that went public in 2022 with a valuation of $3 billion, and has since built and led multiple ventures across renewable energy, smart hardware/IoT, fintech, and AI. Drawing on this entrepreneurial journey, Anson has also spearheaded strategic investments and acquisitions, developing playbooks for scaling companies, navigating cross-border markets, and aligning capital with long-term growth. Beyond building companies, Anson is an active entrepreneurship educator and mentor. As a guest lecturer at Stanford University and a mentor to StartX founders, he brings first-hand entrepreneurial experience into the classroom and the start-up community. He teaches a range of entrepreneurship courses and workshops, helping aspiring entrepreneurs and founders connect practical lessons in venture building with frameworks for investment readiness and scaling. He also advises the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) and holds advisory roles with Stanford University’s Venture Studio and Emergence Accelerator. His broader community leadership includes serving as a Board Member of the Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA), President of the NTU Alumni Association in the United States, and supporting non-profit initiatives. He earned an MS in Management (Sloan Fellow) from Stanford Graduate School of Business, an MS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BEng in Computer Engineering & Business from Nanyang Technological University. With professional experience spanning the U.S., Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Southeast Asia, he brings a global perspective on innovation, sustainability, and investment strategy.  | Mr Anuj JainDirector – National GRIP & Activate Global Fellows SG - NTU Mr Anuj Jain is a seasoned commercial leader and ecosystem builder with over 25 years of commercial leadership experience across Asia, spanning FMCG giants like P&G, GSK, and BIC, as well as B2B tech ventures. As co-founder of an award-winning venture building and VC platform, he led 30+ pre-Series A investments and forged global partnerships across 15 countries to scale product-market-fit-ready start-ups. Currently, Mr Anuj serves as Director of National GRIP & Ecosystem Development at NTU. It’s Singapore’s national deep tech venture creation platform, where he spearheads efforts to commercialise research and nurture science entrepreneurs. A passionate builder, mentor, and educator, he has also trained 200+ early-stage founders and teaches MSc.  | Ms Audrey Chen YihanBoard of Directors, Urovo Technology Holdings Holding a strong belief in a growth mindset and life-long learning, Ms Chen Yihan (Audrey) has been a continuous learner with a special interest in education, entrepreneurship, and business management. Her areas of interest are personal development, entrepreneurial decision-making, and project management. Trained in education research and business management, Audrey has built up a career path covering major stages of enterprise development: start-up, SME, listed companies, as well as public education institutions.  | Dr Chava Vijaya SaradhiVenture Builder, Infocomm and Communication Technologies (ICT), NTUitive Dr Chava brings a unique blend of expertise in technology and business development, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and research, supported by a strong multidisciplinary academic background. His experience spans technical pre-sales, IP management, technology licensing, commercialisation, and open innovation. As Venture Builder for Infocomm and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Deputy Director of Technology Commercialisation at NTUitive, he works closely with internal teams, industry partners, and corporate clients to translate emerging technologies into impactful solutions. Dr Chava has successfully mentored multiple spinoffs, negotiated numerous IP and industry collaboration agreements, and contributed to major corporate research initiatives. An active researcher, Dr Chava has published extensively in the field of computer science, particularly in high-speed networking protocols, control, and management. Dr Chava holds a PhD in Electrical and Computing Engineering from NUS, and an EMBA, Marketing from S P Jain School of Global Management. |
 | Prof Chen DongminDirector, Tsientang Materials Research Laboratory Prof Chen Dongmin is the deputy director of Tsientang Institute for Advanced study and the director of Tsintang Material Research Laboratory. He is also the Director of the Technology Commercialisation Committee and the funding executive director (2019-2024) of Guangdong Songshan Lake Materials Lab. He is an Emeritus Professor at the Institute for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, and a co-director of the Center for Emerging Technology Industry Innovation Research, at Peking University. He was the former Director of the Office of Science and Technology Development at Peking University, which oversees university-industrial partnership, university technology licensing, spin-offs, and University Entrepreneurship Education Program. Prof Chen was a former advisor of WIPO Global Innovation Index. He is also an advisor in innovative economic development of a number of municipal governments in China. Prof Chen is a serial entrepreneur and has co-founded two silicon-valley-start-ups, raised more than 100M USD from top VC firms. He is a partner of Light Capital, an early-stage venture fund. He co-authored more than 100 scientific publications and 150 US and international patents. Prof Chen is an advisor and a former Associated Editor for the Journal of Applied Physics. |
 | Prof Chen ShaoxiangProfessor Chen Shaoxiang holds a PhD in Applied Economics and an MBA from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Nanjing University, China. He joined NTU in 1995 and is currently Professor in the Department of Information Technology and Operations Management. His research focuses on Operations Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, and Operations Research. He has published in leading journals including Operations Research, Management Science, and Production and Operations Management. His recent work explores economic principles of the “Network Economy” enabled by the Internet. Prof Chen teaches undergraduate, graduate, and executive programmes. He also serves on the Academic Board of the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration and the Advisory Committee of the Institute of Internet Industry at Tsinghua University, and previously held leadership roles with the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (Singapore) and the Executive Development Programme at NTU’s Nanyang Business School. |
 | Prof Chen XiaodongDistinguished University Professor, School of Materials Science & Engineering Professor Chen Xiaodong received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Muenster, Germany. He holds a professorship in Materials Science and Engineering, with courtesy appointments in Chemistry and Medicine. His research focuses on mechanomaterials science, flexible electronics, sense digitalisation, cyber-human interfaces, and carbon-negative technologies. Prof Chen has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Singapore President’s Science Award, National Research Foundation Investigatorship and Fellowship, Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award, Dan Maydan Prize in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Falling Walls Award, and Kabiller Young Investigator Award. Prof Chen is an elected member of the Singapore National Academy of Science, the Academy of Engineering Singapore, and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Chinese Chemical Society, and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).

 | Prof Inderjit SinghPresident at WBAF Global Startup Committee, CEO of Solstar International Pte Ltd Prof Inderjit is a rare combination of experiences, managing a multi-national company, a serial entrepreneur, angel investor and a Policy Maker. An engineer by training and having worked at Texas Instruments for 13 years, he embarked on his entrepreneurship journey at the age of 37 by starting United Test and Assembly Center (UTAC), a large semiconductor company. UTAC was listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange in 2004. He went on to start a few more companies with operations in many parts of the world, including the Silicon Valley, USA, many countries in Africa, the Indian Sub-continent, and Southeast Asia. Prof Inderjit was a Member of Parliament in Singapore from 1996 to 2015 where he also served as the Chairman of for the Government Parliamentary Committee for the ministries of Trade and Industry and Finance, as well as a deputy Whip of the Government Party. As a policy maker, he played key roles in developing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Singapore. Prof Inderjit is also currently an adjunct Professor at both Nanyang Technological University, Singapore as well as at the CityU (HK). As a board member the World Business Angel Investment Forum (WBAF), and the President of the Global Start-up Committee of the WBAF, he is active in developing the global entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystem. She has held senior positions in globally renowned organizations, including Managing Director at Edelman Shanghai—the world’s largest public relations firm—and CEO of MullenLowe Profero China, part of the IPG global advertising network. Her career spans both corporate and start-up ecosystems. She has served as CMO and COO for blockchain start-ups, and as Senior Coach and CMO at a U.S.-based career development firm. Currently, Jackie is the Managing Director of a Web3 start-up in Singapore and actively champions women’s leadership through initiatives such as Lean In and sHero.  | Ms Julia Wang JuanSenior Assistant Director, Global Entrepreneurship Programme, NTUitive Ms Julia Wang supports NTU research teams in intellectual property management, technology innovation, and commercialisation, working closely with principal investigators on proof-of-concept projects and entrepreneurial initiatives. Before joining NTUitive, Ms Wang was Director of Innovation, Development and Management at the China-Singapore International Joint Research Institute (CSIJRI), where she led technology commercialisation efforts, helped establish the Institute’s commercialisation arm, and facilitated a joint technology investment fund with strategic partners. She is highly experienced in public-private partnerships in research and innovation and supports NTU spin-offs in exploring international markets.  | Prof Lee Kwan MinKorea Foundation Professor in Contemporary Korean Society and New Media, Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) Professor Lee Kwan Min holds a PhD in Communication from Stanford University. He is the inaugural Korea Foundation Professor in Contemporary Korean Society and New Media, and Director of the User Experience (UX) Lab at NTU. Before joining NTU, he was the founding WCU Professor and Director of the Interaction Science Research Center at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. He also served as Vice President at Samsung Electronics, leading the UX Group and Creative Lab, and was a tenured faculty member at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, University of Southern California. Prof Lee’s research focuses on user experience (UX) design, human–machine interaction, and the social and psychological effects of digital technologies. An elected Fellow of the International Communication Association (ICA), he has received numerous research and teaching awards and serves on editorial and advisory boards of leading international journals. |
 | Dr Li WeiChairman & Co-Founder of Transfong Ventures Dr Li Wei is a seasoned R&D and technology commercialisation expert. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Dr Li is the Chairman and co-founder of Transfong Ventures, a venture builder that provides support to deep tech companies in launching overseas businesses and establishing technology commercialisation partnerships in Singapore and China. The venture building company has headquarters in Singapore and operations centers in Xiamen, Suzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing and Beijing. Dr Li is Programme Director for one of NTUpreneur’s executive programmes and teaches in SkillsFuture funded programme called iLEAD SMEs Growth Programme (Chinese). Dr Li holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Engineering in Microelectronics from Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD. |
 | Prof Lim Keng HuiAssistant Chief Executive Officer of the Science & Engineering Research Council (SERC) at A*STAR Prof Lim Keng Hui oversees research and development in advanced manufacturing, sustainability, transport, digital, and medical technologies to strengthen Singapore’s science and engineering ecosystem. He was the former Executive Director of the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) and led national research efforts in artificial intelligence, computational modelling, and quantum computing. Prior to A*STAR, Prof Lim directed the Digital Manufacturing & Design Centre (DManD) and the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC) at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).  | Assoc Prof Marilyn Ang UyHead, Division of Strategy, International Business, & Entrepreneurship Provost's Chair in Entrepreneurship Associate Professor, College of Business (Nanyang Business School) - Division of Strategy, International Business & Entrepreneurship Associate Professor Marilyn Ang Uy is the Provost's Chair in Entrepreneurship and a tenured Associate Professor at NTU’s Nanyang Business SchoolShe completed her PhD at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado at Boulder (USA). Her research spans the broad areas of psychology of entrepreneurship, work motivation, and emotional well-being. She uses longitudinal approaches such as experience sampling method, weekly or daily diary method, and multi-wave surveys in conducting empirical research. Her articles have been published in premier journals including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Personnel Psychology, and Organisational Research Methods, among others. She served as an Editor (Associate Editor equivalent) of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice from Oct 2017 to Dec 2023. She serves on the editorial review boards of Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal.  | Assoc Prof Michael Li Zhi-FengAssociate Professor, College of Business (Nanyang Business School) - Division of Information Technology & Operations Management Deputy Director of the Renaissance Engineering Programme (REP) Professor Li is an Associate Professor at the Nanyang Business School. He had a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Regina in 1989 and a PhD in Management from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 1994. He has been with NTU since 1994. He had held various visiting positions Shanghai Jiaotong University (2003), UBC (2005), Cornell (2006), CUHK (2008), CEIBS (2010), University of Science and Technology of China (2016), ANU (2018) among others. His research has published in major international journals, including Accident Analysis & Prevention, European Journal of Operational Research, IEEE on Intelligent TransportSystem, International Journal of Transport Economics, Journal of Air Transport Management, Journal of Pricing and Revenue Management, Production & Operations Management, Operations Research, Operations Research Letters, Transportation Research B, Transportation Research E, Transportation Science, among others. He is an international expert on revenue management and congestion pricing. He had been a Deputy Director of MSc (Managerial Economics) Program from 1998 to 2002 and the founding Director of Nanyang EMBA Program from 2003 to 2007. He served as a University Senate from 2016 to 2018. He is currently serving as a Deputy Director of Renaissance Engineering Programme (REP) at NTU, and concurrently serving as the Director of Advanced Leadership Program (ALP), jointly conducted by Business China (under Ministry of Trade and Industry) and NTU. He had provided advisory services to many government agencies, among others. He has also served as a consultant/advisor to several MNCs, listed companies and start-ups. He currently involves in one startup in hydrogen energy sector. He teaches entrepreneurship courses for MSc TIP, MSc Technology Management, and FlexiMasters in Technopreneurship & Innovation, and covers various entrepreneurship topics for executive education programmes. |
 | Dr Neo Kok BengFounder of Neo Aeronautics Dr Neo Kok Beng is an award-winning engineer, educator, and entrepreneur specialising in technological innovation and commercialisation. His accolades include the President’s Design Award, Prime Minister’s Community Service Award, USA Veterans Affairs Innovation Initiative Award, Global Entrepreneurship Winner, and NUS Innovation & Enterprise Awards. Dr Neo began his career at Singapore Technologies, rising to Vice President for New Business and Strategic Planning. He later co-founded several deep-tech ventures in medical technology and advanced engineering and was the inventor of the world’s first wearable artificial kidney and Singapore’s first urban aerial vehicle (“flying car”). He holds a Doctor of Innovation from SMU, an MBA from NTU, and a Bachelor of Engineering from NUS. He was also a Fellow in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and earned an Executive Certificate in Innovation and Strategy from MIT. |
 | Dr Siriwan ChutikamolthamDr Siri is an accomplished finance and economics educator with over 27 years of teaching experience. She has taught at Nanyang Business School, NTU, and currently lectures at both NTU and Singapore Management University (SMU). She has also held faculty positions at leading institutions in the US and Thailand, including the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, and Chulalongkorn University. Before entering academia, Dr Siri built a distinguished career in the international financial services sector. Her positions included Economist at the World Bank in Washington D.C., Vice President for Treasury at Bangkok Bank, and CEO of Golden Land Properties, where she played a key role in the company’s public listing. She later co-founded a boutique business consulting firm in the US and continues her consulting services for international clients. Dr Siri is passionate about teaching and has won multiple teaching awards. From 2016 to 2020, she served as the Academic Director for the Nanyang Fellow MBA Programme. Her research interests focus on financial and economic issues in Asia, ASEAN, and the Euro Area. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Master’s in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honours) from Chulalongkorn University. |
 | Mr Sng YihPresident, China and member of the Autoliv Global Executive Management Team Mr Sng Yih’s career is unique in that he does not possess any unique functional expertise, and has always been thrusted into jobs that he would hardly qualify for in normal circumstances. He held functional leadership roles in Project Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Aftermarket B2B and B2C Management, Strategy and Business Development, Legal before entering general management ten years ago. The experience garnered in all these varied roles comminates in a very different approach to managing the Asia/China operations of Tenneco, Lear and currently, Autoliv. Each role offered different challenges, but Mr Sng Yih approached them in the same way – what can I change to make this better? The last thirty years of development in China were the best times to approach businesses with this attitude, as the market changes at break-neck speed, and MNCs required first adaptation, and in recent years, transformation, to survive and grow. Assoc Professor Tan Joo Seng is NTU’s NBS department of Strategy, International Business & Entrepreneurship. He has been actively involved in executive leadership and management training and development since 1995. His expertise on digital transformation strategy, global leadership, cultural intelligence, business model innovation, design thinking, and Leadership in the Age of Disruption are highly sought after by Fortune 500 companies. He has more than 25 years of industry and training experience. Assoc Prof Tan’s insights and perspectives on Agile Leadership were presented at webinars and international conferences. He has been interviewed on Money FM 89.3 and was featured in Business Times.  | Dr Xia ZhiqiangAcademic Director and Postgraduate & Undergraduate Programmes Lead, NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur) Dr Xia Zhiqiang is the Academic Director and Postgraduate & Undergraduate Programmes Lead at the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur). He oversees the Master of Science in Technopreneurship and Innovation programme (MSc TIP) and provides strategic direction to the management and operation of the MiE and SMiE programmes. He has won recognition for developing educational partnership with top international universities and institutions, as well as overseas entrepreneurship immersion and international venture competitions. He is an Adjunct Professor of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and served as the President of International Council for Small Business (Singapore Chapter) from 2015 to 2017. He has helped many entrepreneurs and start-ups in securing venture funding or strategising business growth or international development.  | Prof Xiao YoudanInstitutes of Science for Development, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) Professor Xiao Youdan is a leading expert in innovation, intellectual property, and law. He plays a key role in shaping science and technology legislation in China. He has contributed to the Patent Law, the Law on Scientific and Technological Progress, the Law on the Promotion of R&D Outputs Commercialisation, and multiple Beijing regulations governing research commercialisation and intellectual property. His research has been widely published in China’s leading journals on intellectual property and innovation, and he is the author of seven monographs, including Open Innovation and Intellectual Property Law, China's Technology Transfer System: Regulations, Policies and Practices, and Copyright in Historical Perspective: Rights Culture and Authorship. He received his PhD in Law from Renmin University of China, completed postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University. |
 | Mr Vadim ShpakManaging Director, Vickers Venture Partners As Managing Director at Vickers Venture Partners, Mr Vadim Shpak leads the global business development and investment strategy. With more than seven years in the venture capital industry, Vadim has developed a proficiency in raising capital for both funds and the companies they invest in. His area of expertise include building stronger investor relations, mastering negotiation techniques, strategic management, and cultivating business partnerships, all supported by an MBA from Cass Business School. Vadim aims to leverage this expertise and his extensive network to support start-ups with the potential to make a significant impact both regionally and globally. Vickers Venture Partners focuses on early-stage investments across a broad range of sectors, including life sciences, technology, media, telecommunications, consumer, and financial services.  | Dr Zhao MengSenior Lecturer, College of Business (Nanyang Business School) - Division of Strategy, International Business & Entrepreneurship Dr Zhao Meng is a senior lecturer at NTU’s Nanyang Business School. He was the founding Director of the Yunus Center for Social Business & Microfinance, Renmin University of China. Dr Zhao holds a PhD in organisation theory and strategy from the Said Business School, Oxford University. He was a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University’s Philanthropy and Civil Society Research Center, and a visiting scholar at Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He is currently an editorial board member at Stanford Social Innovation Review Books and an advisory board member at Research in the Sociology of Organisations. He is the chief editor of Social Entrepreneurship book series published by Renmin University Press and Springer. His work has explored business sustainability in emerging markets, social entrepreneurship, and hybrid organisation management. His recent research examines how individuals and organisations manage the relationship between their business-oriented and socially oriented values and goals. |
