Tree of Hope

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Venue: Convocation Tentage Area, outside Nanyang Auditorium

NTU Museum presents the Tree of Hope, a multi-disciplinary light and community art installation by The Living! Project, an art-centric social enterprise founded by an artist collective of 12 people, led by lead artist, Sun Yu-Li.

Traditionally, trees are given an auspicious symbolic significance such as life, energy, wisdom and hope. People wrote wishes on a piece of joss paper or ribbon and hung them on trees. The Tree of Hope was inspired by this tradition. Replicating this journey, we welcome everyone on the campus to send their well-wishes and adorn this great tree with wishing strips.
