The Ecological Enlightenment: Eighteenth-Century England & Modern Singapore

The Ecological Enlightenment exhibition is a joint effort of the NTU Museum, the Division of English, the NTU Lee Wee Nam Library and Humanities and Social Sciences Library. The exhibit featured artworks produced as part of the midterm assignment for the undergraduate course "Introduction to Restoration and Eighteenth-Century Literature: The Ecological Enlightenment" (HL2003) taught by Assistant Professor Samara Cahill. The course introduces students to canonical works of seventeenth-, eighteenth-, and nineteenth-century English literature and spans the timeframe of the Restoration, the Enlightenment, and the Romantic era (1660-1832).
