Supernatural
is a series of large scale artworks inspired by the traditional Chinese myths and created by students at the School of Art, Design and Media, at the Pattern, Art Design and Architecture course. Students explored current and launched new trends, presented contemporary experiments, and situated the development of pattern within the cultural-historical context. In addition to architecture, design, and art, the course now contains patterns for the sciences. The class encourages multidisciplinary approaches and applications and is impacted and influenced by technical innovations such as 3D printing and engraving and large scale interactive animated projections for patterns of today.
