Fatigue in Communication and Technology

Fatigue in Communication and Technology (FATCAT) is interested in understanding the extent of fatigue which can occur from excessive, sustained and intense use of media and communication technologies, which can manifest via information fatigue, social media fatigue and videoconference fatigue, among other negative outcomes.

FATCAT is also keen to explore the antecedents of fatigue resulting from the use of media and communication technologies, and propose and test solutions to alleviate these effects on the individual and society.
