ASEAN Earthquake Model (AEM) Core Group Meeting

Members of NTU, BMKG and PHIVOLCS, which are ASEAN’s three leading technical institutions with significant experience in earthquake science and risk assessments, had gathered in NTU’s Nanyang Executive Centre on 20 November 2012 to discuss the preliminary plan of major activities for the ASEAN Earthquake Model (AEM) project. The objective of the AEM project was to provide comprehensive assessment of seismic hazard and risk of exposure and disaster preparedness in ASEAN member states with ASEAN being an earthquake prone region.
