Uncommon in Common: My Life as a PhD Student at MIT

The colloquium webinar on 12 August 2020 was jointly organised by IAS and the Graduate Students' Clubs of SCSE and EEE.

Getting a PhD from MIT can be tough, occasionally with some joy and fun. In this talk, Prof Wen shared his (unusual) PhD experience at MIT and the various lessons he had learned over that period. More importantly he illustrated how that experience had prepared and shaped what he is doing as a professor at NTU.
