Dr Lee Jia Min at 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, est. since 1951, is a globally recognized event that provide a globally recognized forum for exchange between Nobel Laurates and young scientists worldwide (https://www.lindau-nobel.org/meetings/). 


In Oct 2021, NRF invited NTU to nominate researchers to attend the 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. Nominees have to undergo a multi-step application and selection process reviewed by the scientific review panel of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. Successful applicants are assessed based on their academic and research achievements, motivation and dedication to research work and other extracurricular activities. After 6 months of evaluation by the Council, Dr Lee Jia Min, Research Fellow from Prof Yeong Wai Yee’s research project group was selected as one of the 600 international young scientist to participate in this prestigious event. 

Dr Lee engaged in intellectual discussion with fellow young scientists and Nobel laureates during the 6 day event in hopes of establishing future international collaborative research work in the field of chemistry and related discipline.
